Generalities
Our 100% buyer protection program allows you to easily return or exchange any item purchased from Mundo Electronic, either in one of the stores or through this online store https://mundoelectronic.com/, but that has been received in good condition damaged, defective or broken (Certain restrictions apply *)
 
Definitions
- “New and Unopened” Items: Items that are still sealed in their box are considered.
- "Open / used" items: Items that have been opened in their box, even if they do not show signs of use, are considered.

Changes or Returns
To exchange or return an item, you must comply with the following:

  1. You have 30 days after having the product in your hands to change or return it, for this you must provide the store receipt, or the Mundo Electronic order number if you bought it online
  2. The item cannot have signs of use such as scratches, or that it is damaged, worn, resized or altered, or breakage due to use, that item will be rejected for return and refund
  3. The item must be returned in its original condition, in its box, with its accessories (if any) as well as the labels. Any item that is returned without all of its materials delivered may have a restocking fee of up to 20% of the purchase price if Mundo Electronic stipulates it.
  4. If the product is returned, we will refund your purchase to the original payment method used during the purchase, unless otherwise indicated in "our exceptions", more return options such as cash are available in the stores.
  5. Customs duties or any other international tax (if applicable) must be borne by the customer, in accordance with the laws of the country in question.
  6. It is recommended to insure items with a value greater than $500

 
Exceptions for Exchanges or Returns
There are items that are subject to return restrictions (for example, oversized / heavy items, luxury items). Details below:
- Extra-large audio equipment must first call Customer Service (786) 422-9791 for an employee to visit and evaluate the equipment, if applicable, this same person will change the equipment or initiate the return.
- Wireless phones can only be exchanged within 7 days, which is less than the rest of the products in the store.
 
Items that only admit Changes
Some products can only be exchanged for an identical or similar item and are listed below as they are considered "Open / Used":
- Unlocked cordless cellular Phones
 
Returns or Changes in the stores
 Visit any of our Mundo Electronic stores located in Hialeah, Miami, Florida, (locations can be found at https://mundoelectronic.com/pages/about-us) present your purchase receipt and the item to be returned or exchanged (remember that you have to be included all original boxes, documents, cables, accessories etc.)

Services offered in stores are not eligible for return / refund / replacement:

- In-store bill payment
- Prepaid cell phone recharges
- Gift cards
- Sim cards
 
Returns or Exchanges by Mail
Start a return by mail at Mundo Electronic in either of the following two ways:

  1. Sending an email to support@mundoelectronic.com including images of the broken, defective or damaged product. You must include your name and order number in the email. Keep the photos for your records.
  2. Log in to your Mundo Electronic account https://mundoelectronic.com/account/login if you are a registered customer (easy method).
Mundo Electronic will provide a return label
Close the box and paste the return label that we provide, return it to the mail, you must then wait for Mundo Electronic to receive the item from the carrier.
We will refund your money only after the item has been returned to the warehouse, and it is validated and certified that the item has been returned in exactly the same condition as it was sent.
The refund amount will be credited within 7 to 10 business days to your account or card used for the purchase.
Once validated, refunds are processed to the customer's original payment method within 5-7 business days.
 
Returns with receipt
Receipt items returned within the required time frame will be refunded as follows:
  • Cash
  • To the same credit card within 7 to 10 business days
  • To the same debit card. Refunds to a debit card can take 5-7 business days.
  • Change of merchandise
 
When the original Credit / Debit card is missing
Available, refunds for purchases in the store will be made only in cash or to a Mundo Electronic gift card (When available), and refunds for online purchases will be returned to the issuing bank.
 
Returns without receipt
 Can't find your receipt? No problem if you created a user account, we can find the transaction in your account easily, we can only search for purchases made in the store if you have your purchase receipt or if you have a user account created, the customer must present an identification with valid photo issued by a government office. Customer identification information is stored in a secure database that Mundo Electronic uses to authorize returns.
Refunds processed to a debit / credit card without a receipt may take 7-10 business days.
If the refund verification process accepts the return, the following options are available:
  • Change of merchandise
  • Cash when the refund value is less than $50
  • Gift card when the rebate value is $50 or more.
"New and unopened" items can be returned, but will only get a partial refund, as shipping and return costs will be discounted.
* In some article’s returns are not accepted, only exchanges, these are included in the section "Exceptions for Exchanges or Returns".
 
Gifts
 Items with a gift receipt can be exchanged, refunded to a gift card, or credited to the sender's original mode of payment.
 Items without a gift receipt can be exchanged or refunded to a gift card. Items under $25 are reimbursed in cash.
 
Conclusions
 Mundo Electronic reserves the right to modify the terms of this policy at any time. A receipt with a valid transaction number is required to receive a sales tax refund for items returned within the time allowed by Florida law.
 Mundo Electronic reserves the right to limit or deny returns or exchanges, regardless of whether the customer has a receipt. All returns without a receipt are subject to a refund verification process. All decisions regarding returns are subject to applicable laws. The store manager has the authority to make a final decision on all returns
 Mundo Electronic also reserves the right to close Mundoelectronic.com accounts or cancel or reject orders for violations or abuse of our return's policy, or any fraudulent activity related to returns.
